Caritas Christi
Health Care System
Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Caritas Christi is one of the
largest healthcare systems in New England, providing community-based
medicine and tertiary care in eastern Massachusetts, southern New
Hampshire and Rhode Island.
Catholic Health East
Catholic Health East is a multi-institutional Catholic health
system, which is co-sponsored by 15 religious congregations, and
Hope Ministries, a Public Juridic Person within Catholic Health
East. Based in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, the System provides the
means to ensure the continuation of the Catholic identity and
operational strength of the sponsors' health ministries, which are
located within 11 eastern states from Maine to Florida.
Catholic Health Initiatives
Catholic Health Initiatives is a national nonprofit health
organization with headquarters in Denver. We are a faith-based
system that includes 72 hospitals; 42 long-term care, assisted- and
residential-living facilities; and two community health-services
organizations in 19 states. Together, our facilities provided almost
$480 million in community benefit in the 2007 fiscal year, including
services for the poor, free clinics, education and research. With
approximately 65,000 employees and annual revenues of $7.7 billion,
our system ranks as the nation's second-largest Catholic health care
system.
Hospital Sisters Health System
The Hospital Sisters Health System is a Roman Catholic
healthcare mission founded to continue the healing ministry of Jesus
Christ. Sponsored by the Hospital Sisters of the Third Order of St.
Francis, HSHS is dedicated to serving the poor, the sick and the
needy at each of its 13 Local Systems in Illinois and Wisconsin.
Based in Springfield, Illinois, The Hospital Sisters Health System
provides state-of-the-art medical care framed in traditional values
taught by St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi.
Ministry Health Care
Sponsored by the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother, Ministry Health
Care is a values-driven health care delivery network of aligned
hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, home care agencies,
dialysis centers and many other programs and services in Wisconsin
and Minnesota.
Provena Health
Provena Health is a Catholic health system that includes six
hospitals, 16 long-term care and senior residential facilities, 28
clinics, five home health agencies and other health-related
activities operating in Illinois and Indiana. Provena
Health ministries are sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of the
Sacred Heart, the Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary and the Sisters
of Mercy of the Americas
Saint Clare's
Health System
Saint Clare's is the premier community healthcare system in
northwestern New Jersey and the New Jersey affiliate of the
world-renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Saint Clare's
is a multi-campus healthcare system with four hospitals and numerous
offsite locations throughout Morris and Sussex counties. Our
hospitals and numerous offsite facilities specialize in medical and
surgical services, maternal and child care, pediatric emergency
care, elder care, cancer care, emergency care and behavioral health
services.
Sisters of St. Francis Health Services
Sisters of St. Francis Health Services is a hospital system
serving Indiana and parts of Illinois. It operates 10 hospitals and
employs approximately 16,800 full- and part-time employees.
Headquartered in Mishawaka, Indiana,Sisters of St. Francis Health
Services currently sponsors acute care facilities, clinics,
ambulatory diagnostic and treatment centers, care for the home-bound
and community outreach facilities in nine states.
St. John Health System
Founded in 1926 by the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother, St. John
Medical Center is a regional leader in radiology, cardiology,
oncology, urology, wellness and physical rehabilitation. The
sprawling campus which now encompasses St. John in mid-town Tulsa,
Oklahoma is a far cry from the modest, 50-bed structure opened
nearly 75 years ago. The 21st Street Expansion Project, St. John's
most ambitious construction project in nearly 25 years, will further
expand the campus to include three new structures and is scheduled
for completion sometime in 2004.
Trinity Health
Trinity Health is the fourth-largest Catholic health care system in
the country. Based in Novi, Mich., Trinity Health operates 43
acute-care hospitals, 379 outpatient facilities, 26 long-term care
facilities, and numerous home health offices and hospice programs in
seven core states.
Via Christi Health System
Via Christi Health System, with headquarters in Wichita, Kansas,
is a Catholic, mission-focused, not-for-profit healthcare system of
medical centers, senior communities, health plans and outpatient and
retail facilities serving Kansas and the surrounding region. Via
Christi Health System encompasses acute care hospitals, physician
practices, senior care facilities, health plans, research
institutes, philanthropic foundations, affiliated businesses and
other health-related concerns.
Wheaton Franciscan Services
Located in Wheaton, Illinois, Wheaton Franciscan Services is the
parent organization for health and shelter service organizations
sponsored in four states by the Wheaton Franciscan Sisters. The
Wheaton Franciscan System includes ministries in Colorado, Illinois,
Iowa and Wisconsin. System services throughout Wisconsin
collectively comprise one of the largest health provider systems in
the state.
