Consorta 2009 Annual Report
The first three years of our relationship with
HealthTrust have yielded a substantial return to the
Consorta shareholders in terms of pricing, rebates and
overall value. In addition to direct financial benefit,
Consorta continues to look for opportunities to streamline
operations and improve efficiency. As part of this process,
we have converted from a July-June fiscal year to a
January-December calendar year. To accomplish this effort,
we implemented a six-month transitional budget (STUB2009)
from July-December 2009 before beginning a new 12-month
budget year on January 1, 2010 (CY2010). This annual report
therefore covers an 18-month period, from July 2008 through
December 2009.

Consorta Receives Practice
Greenhealth Champion for Change Award for Seventh Consecutive
Year
Consorta has once again received the
Practice Greenhealth Champion for Change Award for
outstanding contributions to environmentally responsible
healthcare. Consorta was presented the award at the Practice
Greenhealth Environmental Excellence Awards, held on May 12
in Baltimore, Maryland in
conjunction with CleanMed 2010, the premier Global
Conference on Environmentally Sustainable Health Care.

Consorta
Announcement
The Consorta Board recently reassessed the
partnership between Consorta and HealthTrust and decided to wind
down the remaining activities performed by Consorta. These will be
shifted to HealthTrust, and Consorta will cease operations effective
December 31, 2010. more
